In India, there are any number of ascetics or sadhus who live in isolation only for the purpose of soul-searching or Atma-gyan. This has been an essential part of Hinduism for centuries. Such persons leave the life of materialism, renounce their families and head for caves in the Himalayas(read isolation) and spend years and years in meditation, living frugally, for the realisation of their soul.
What you are talking about here is, I guess, the spirit which can definitely touch a low if left isolated. We need other (loving, positive) people and things around to recharge our spirits every now and then. If you are in love with someone, you will have noticed how charged up you feel just by thinking about him/her. Conversely, in a negative environment you feel drained of all your energy...Do you agree, that isolation tends to exhaust the energy charge of the soul?
There is a time and place to be alone it can be healthy for the soul and the mind. Being lonely or isolated on the other hand is something that, in my experience (which is all I have) is something I have not had any choice in. I have been with freinds and yet felt so alone, I have missed loved ones and no matter what the emptiness has taken over I have found though on occasion that meditation and indeed memories have built up hope and confidence that the future will be something fantastic and exciting and only round this difficult corner.Do you agree, that isolation tends to exhaust the energy charge of the soul?
i guess souls are all different, but mine thrives on the positive energy of others, if i were isolated for a long time, i wouldnt have much will to live... but pets, you didnt mention, i like pets
No, sometimes it's actually good for the soul.
nah....ya just go bonkers....how long ya bin isolated my dear ?
No. Never. You are probably confused about soul and other entities. Soul is omnipotent and have unending charge. In fact energy comes into existence from soul jus as matter comes into existence from energy.
Probably you are becoming mentally tired or intellectually tired since you are the extrovert type, who want to be in the company of others always. You want the attention of others. If so, it is quite natural that you get intellectually, mentally and emotionally exhausted. But that doesn't exhaust the energy of soul.
What do you think Soul is?
It depends upon the soul. Mine loves solitude and is reinvigorated by it.
Yes, human are social animals. However there are exceptions.
No! you NEED to learn to draw energy from an external source and from deep down in the pit of your soul to truly understand that energy.............
No, not at all. Buddhist monks sometimes go into isolation for months or years.
Yes I agree that it can exhaust the the energy of the soul to a certain point ....
We all need quiet times of isolation to recharge our souls and take into prospective our life experiences with the people and things around us in our everyday world.....
If we are too isolated it can hurt our souls because we need other human beings always to see our other realities of everyday life and living we need to connect always to the outside world of the living but we should cultivate a quiet peaceful time to recharge our souls a healthy balance is always something that we should aim for always with our own souls and the souls of others %26amp; that at times is not easy to do but we must learn to do this to have good energies all around :)))
