How did argon get its name and what is its isolation?

describe your role in ancient human history and/or your isolation, description and naming by a human being. How did argon get its name and what is its isolation?
Argon was the first noble gas to be discovered (these were originally called inert gases because at the time, no known compounds could be formed).

Argon (Greek αργός meaning ';inactive'; or ';inert';) was discovered in 1894 by Lord Rayleigh and Sir William Ramsay in an experiment in which they removed all of the oxygen and nitrogen from the air. The atmosphere contains about one percent Argon.

The name Argon and and a list of many of its properties were first communicated to the Royal Society by Rayleigh and Ramsay in January of 1895.How did argon get its name and what is its isolation?
Argon is separated from air by fractional distillation of liquefied air. The name is Greek for inactive.
