Why is the isolation of pure bacterial cultures important?
It's important for many reasons. Mostly because for confirmation that you do have a pure culture and that your culture is not contaminated. You can use your pure culture for control purposes and/or standards. There's many reasons. You get a pure culture , so you know exactly what you got.
