DNA when it is pure is clear so there may be a pellet and you are not seeing it. Salts or other impurities may precipitate along with the DNA. This could be what you're seeing. Or, maybe you just didn't have much DNA to begin with.

What impurities can get co-precipitated with cold ethanol during plant DNA isolation?
while precipitating my plant DNA with cold ethanol the pellet did not form even after centrifuging it thrice at 10000 rpm for 10 minutes each, and a jelly like mass appeared instead. What it could be?What impurities can get co-precipitated with cold ethanol during plant DNA isolation?
