I have to write a paper on motif, for the book To Kill A Mockingbird. My motif is Community vs. Isolation, and I am not sure which prevails. Nor do I fully understand the motif. Also I have already asked the teacher what to do, but she is of no help.Does Community or Isolation prevail in the book To Kill A Mockingbird?
Isolation. The answer is always isolation prevails. way easier to write about.Does Community or Isolation prevail in the book To Kill A Mockingbird?
Atticus chooses isolation - he wants to do the right thing and is willing to defend a black man, even if this causes him to be isolated by the community.
He teaches his children that the community is sometimes wrong and you cannot judge others based on what others think. You need to walk a mile in their shoes.
