How much Isolation is detrimental to the international community?

I see in the Politics sections of Yahoo Answers about how the US wants to isolate itself from the rest of the world. So I thought, how much isolation is not helpful for the rest of the world for ';ANY COUNTRY';. This is not to be offensive but I am just curious about the possible outcome IF any given nation completely isolates itself from the rest of the world.

I'm not here to be offensive in any manner and I just want your opinion on this question. That's all.How much Isolation is detrimental to the international community?
To isolate is to be secret. Every country is isolated in its own way.How much Isolation is detrimental to the international community?
how can it damage the world if we want to mind our own business. i see that to be helpful on our behalf. look at iran which is isolated and the best is north korea both are isolated.

the detriment they are to the world is that they possibly want to make nuclear weapons and presumbly harm other nations.
It is very good for the world. Most of the trouble in todays world is generated by US or because of US. If US isolates itself and mind its own business, the whole world will be peaceful.
That seems to be the direction were going and I really don't see any other option. I don't trust Muslims, do you after what has happened?

I certainly don't see us isolating from our brothers in Israel though. At least if we want to survive. The Bible is clear on Israels significance and the Blessed Anointing He has placed on them and anyone who stands with them, I Pray that is us.

This is why we were attacked, because of our relationship with Israel. Satan hates us for that therefore He dispatches His demons of Islam to attack us, but we must not waiver from Gods purpose and our destiny.
Gee, I don't know, ask Iran, who is refusing to follow UN instructions about stopping it's nuclear weapons program.

That's pretty isolated. At least the USA still has allies who aren't afraid to stand up to that Hitler.
